Shepard DiStasio (he/they) is a trans, disabled, and Muslim writer based in New York. He is a Swarthout Award winner in poetry, a Lux Creative Poetry winner, and his debut fiction novel, Veil Us in Gold, was an indie ink awards finalist. They have poetry in DOG TEETH, Wasteland Review, Lux Creative Review, Reverent: An Anthology, and a poetic translation in HFR’s Thousand Languages Project. They are represented by Kirsten Lang at Zeno Literary Agency.
