Sprig, just so
The rosemary you put on the corner of the porch
leans out
patiently
for the sun,
whose light we’ll taste together
in the winter, when
the rosemary we harvested
from its corner of the porch
comes to rest,
long and gently roasted on the skin
of noble old potatoes.
